Family.

If you are a family with kids coming to live in Prague for a longer period you will have to deal with the matter of day care centres, preschools and school. If you plan a longer stay, a Czech school would be worth considering.

If it comes to the learning of the Czech language your child will surely profit from it. If your stay will be short-lived a bilingual Czech-English education would be another option. The Baby Bee Preschool offers day care and afternoon classes for babies, toddlers and preschool children. There are also other bilingual day care centres and preschools. If you are interested in education according to the English national curriculum the English International School Prague and the Prague British School, both are fee paying co-educational schools and teaching pupils from 18 months to 18 years, would be another alternative for you.

There is also an American based school, the International School Prague. Those of you who are expecting a child will be relieved and happy to hear that there are also prenatal and parenting classes in English offered by an English trained nurse and midwife.
