Water.

In our daily lives we do not think much about such things as where our supply of water comes from. We may wonder about it once a year when the bill arrives but generally water for people in our parts of the world is an unquestioned provision.

And don’t worry, it is so in Prague. Nonetheless, it makes sense to know the name of your water supplier. The Prague Water Supply and Sewerage Company is a large joint-stock company under the acronym of PVK. It produces and supplies drinking water to one and a half people in Prague not including the numerous users outside of Prague.

By the way, the water supply in Prague is of good quality. Drinking water from the tap can generally be considered safe.
