Since late 2007 the reconstructed palace houses a new permanent exhibition.  Perhaps the most imposing Renaissance building in Prague, constructed between 1545 and 1563, the Schwarzenberg Palace once exhibited a collection of killing instruments, displays on battles and strategies which are these days replaced by Bohemian art from the late 16th to the end of the 18th century.

On the three floors about 160 sculptural exhibits and 280 pieces of late Renaissance and Baroque painting are presented.
